    Superb action movie! Better than the original
    Let me start off by saying that I’ve tried watching a lot of movies on Prime and they’re not always high-budget films. I’m also not one to do or watch something just because there is a lot of hype around it. HOWEVER, this movie was excellent. The plot had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning (no spoilers here)… the acting, graphics, visual effects, music choices had me IMPRESSED!!I like going to the movies but it has gotten expensive and I also like to lay on my own couch, eat my own snacks and save money. Renting was only $19.99 (I would have paid at least $30 at the theatre). And I still had the best experience!! Probably better than going to the theatre, because I could talk and check my phone without fear of being shunned.

    Great fun movie with a twist
    This movie was more fun than thriller. Smart city girl using technology to get info on tornados, but then the twist…clouds appear and Tornados are scary. I was clinging to my chair as if I was in the movie theater the crashing breeze on my face felt like I was part of the movie…until I realized I could turn off my fan. Once chaos was calmed o could enjoy the movie where diapers fly and not cows. Great movie, great story. It has that new hot guy in it…Glen Mctwisty! More twists than a McDonald’s ice cream machine….which is still broken….buy the movie watch it with the friend who hates to go outside and hear them scream adding surround sound to the experience. You’ll love it!

    5 stars but……
    Kate was miscast……she was supposed to carry this guilt, carry this sadness and did not feel anything from her. Wow.Anyway, it was still a 5 star movie because Glen and Anthony and that amazing dynamic entourage! Boone!? Wow. What a great movie. Full of action and heart. Thank God for Glen and Anthony. I don’t think she could have sold it. Also, it was nice to see Glen stretch those acting chops. He cried, I felt it. Anthony’s guilt, I felt it. Kate? Wow. I don’t think it was Daisy’s fault, she was just couldn’t pull off this character IMHO. But oh well. Great movie!

    Family Movie Night
    I recently watched the new *Twister* movie, and it was quite a thrilling ride! The special effects were top-notch, bringing the tornadoes to life in a way that felt intense and immersive. The sense of urgency and danger was palpable, and the action scenes kept me on the edge of my seat. The updated storyline also did a great job of honoring the original while adding fresh elements.The cast delivered solid performances, and the pacing was generally good, though there were a few moments where the plot felt a bit predictable. Some character development could have been deeper, as a few relationships seemed underexplored.Overall, though, it’s a fun, adrenaline-packed disaster film that fans of the genre will likely enjoy. A solid 4-star experience!

    If you feel it, watch it
    This movie is really entertaining and I loved the soundtrack. I really LOVED the first one (it started my love of disaster movies really) and love that they didn’t try and do a direct sequel. It was the same universe and a couple of nods to the original, however it stands as its own movie. Was some of it over the top and a little cheesy? Yes, however it is a disaster movie. What do you expect? Shakespeare?

    Great Movie, Great Music
    I’ll quote (steal, borrow, copy) another reviewer “If you liked the original Twister, you will enjoy this movie as it pays homage to the original but doesn’t go over the top with it.” That is very true and that statement says it all. I watched it in the theater and had to buy it so I could watch it over again and really pay attention to what is happening, why and where they were going with the story line. It is a good movie to watch with your family or just enjoy by yourself. Absolutely LOVE the music. Great Movie, Great Music.

    It has all the elements of the original..
    I was expecting something other than what I saw. I am a HUGE fan of the original and I did not expect much from a remake ( how dare they)… I’ve watched the original over the years at least 300 times.. Literally! The action was intense! The visuals were amazing and shows how far we have come in the AV world… Acting and plot not bad.. Small issues.. No smashing the same windshield 9 times or flying cows here.. It grabs you from the beginning.. Then continues to shake you till the end. Do not watch this comparing it to the original.. The original is fully represented in this movie, but is scrambled up and twisted within the story! I actually loved this movie..!

    If you Feel it, CHASE IT!
    Story was written by Joseph Kosinski, but unfortunately not the script. If they only had a little more time to polish the story, it would’ve been a perfect 10/10. Hangman (Glen Powell) was great, he basically carried this whole thing. Evil Clark Kent was the 2nd best character, shame he didn’t have a bigger role. They also had the usual archetypes, it’s not bad, not great. The weakest link was probably Young Anne Hathaway, I forget her name, but she needs to take a few more acting lessons, especially in the facial movement department.
