    Better than I expected
Music really good, enjoyed it all the way through.Low point, Hunt/Cruise running in Venice through all the candles, Cruise is showing his age, but in a way this is good, to see him huffing and puffing and this is normal, who can keep up like he used to, so it’s at least natural that he slows down, and shows it.Best scenes two: Ving Rhames had two scenes, the one telling Hunt that Ving has to go completely off grid. And the best scene is Ving giving Hunt the talk about how it must go for Hunt’s mission meeting the bad guy. This is the best scene I felt in the movie, and ties with the other best scene, which is Cruise giving the new woman the briefing to join the IMF team, that is a very solid convincing talk. Good dialoge for those three scenes, kudos whoever wrote them.Kitteridge is annoyingly too double crossishly. That’s a very hard character to script, since, what are we supposed to think? Is Kitteridge just playing this double crossishly person to fool the AI character?AI character is fantasy. Ving Rhames out thinks the AI though, and he’s gotten the best dialogue in the film therefore.Anyways, thankyou, I have to admit it’s a good movie, I’d pay to watch it, but I got it free on Amazon Prime video, which I guess that’s how I pay for it.Good movie!

    Most Important IMS Movie
The world is doom having an AI taking over not for mankind, for the AI. Hunt is looking for a special key along with rest of the other countries. Only, he is looking for this key not for the USA. The IMS team is up against again the world, that is their mission choose to except, including the U.S. Problem after getting the key Hunt and the team have no idea how or where to use the key nor what the key can do. The AI is taking over anything digital one leap at a time, which lucky is taking time that the world is not completely linked together. This is like the ole MI not having Bad Machine and J.J. Abrams with the movie since a long time back. The movie feels like the beginning and second maybe third movies. Excitement throughout, guessing where and who holds the key can be a mystery considering it changes hands about every few days. I really enjoyed this movie the third time watching.

More entertaining chase scene than Bullitt? yea I said it
Watch it for the car chase scene. I’m sick of CGI, I’m tired of the shaky camera action scenes, I’m bored seeing the same actors, but the car chase is a blast. I watch movies to escape into the character’s back story, but as soon as the lowest common denominator Hollywood formula kicks in and the overdone CGI starts, I tune out. HOWEVER, without question, it’s the most entertaining car chase scene I’ve ever watched. When I think of great car chases a few that come to mind are Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds, the orig, and then the excellent for the time (mainly because of Eleanor the 67 fastback) remake, all fun car chases, but the cinematography, intense and comedic acting (well done Klementieff) , driving scared(well done Atwell), and sound mixing of the Dead Reckoning car chase scene is what stupid and silly entertainment should look like. Creative, funny, and thrilling. The airport scene is fun, the car chase scene is excellent; you can skip the rest.

    Tom Cruise a stellar actor
Enjoyed this movie and Tom Cruise’s acting and the way he cares for his team. He listens and is there for them even while he is concerned abut the fate of the world; and, as in all his movies, he is an action hero that doesn’t miss a beat during this film, just as he has in his other films. As for Tom Cruse the man, he is fit, beautiful and a wonder and joy to watch on the screen. as always. Thank you Mr. Cruise for yet another fine movie.

    Really so good!
I don’t watch as many movies as I should anymore. The MI show was one of my favorites and the movies are a great substitute for the OO7 movies which are now truly and finally done after Skyfall. I feel like this series fits right into that niche perfectly. Tom Cruise has been a celebrity for so long I can’t imagine Hollywood without him. He was excellent in this. I know I’m probably overselling it but the story is great, it’s deep and worthwhile.Parts of it may be somewhat predictable (Grace becoming part of the team), but it’s not how you would expect it to happen. One big difference between this and the old James Bond movies is that Ethan Hunt doesn’t patronize women. Without compromising the story with a lot of heavy ideology, Ethan Hunt just treats his team with professionalism. Like Timothy Dalton’s OO7 in his first one.I’m glad to have a reliable fun action hero movie franchise once again. Looking forward to part 2. I wonder if Paris will survive?

    An actual good movie
It’s been awhile since I was actually entertained by a movie. They just don’t make them like they used to. This was a traditional action, good movie, what I’ve come to expect from the MI brand. I was entertained, the acting was pretty good, though some of the stunts were a bit far fetched…I guess that’s part of why we watch. I would recommend this movie.

The Mission Impossible Franchise is Still Making Actual Movies
This movie has good pacing, all of the characters have agency, and they appear to have rational motivation. It felt continually engaging while other movies coming out these days don’t provide enough story, motivation or pathos for characters. Those might seem like minimum requirements for movies, but at least this movie meets them.

  8. Juan Barcenas

    Buena película.

  9. Charles.

Stunts were over the top and the end result was a movie that was energetic and dare I say, making me wanting to watch it again to actually absorb what is going on. However, that is what the writers and producers want. What the future is for the IMF?I remember the 1960 series, and it seems that if you have high quality producers then you can do anything. But please, Isla, disappointed!
