Has a repeat feature to play your dvd over and over w/o stopping.
Very hard to find a player that has a repeat play feature, this one does. You start the movie, press repeat, and walk away, it will play over and over if that is something you need. You must wait for the movie to start, if you do it while it is playing previews, or menu or whatever-it will just repeat that over and over and not play the movie. It’s small too so doesn’t take a lot of space or look overwhelmingly ugly.

    Works like a charm.
I’m a 70 year old woman and the hookup was easy & everything seems to work like a charm. Picture is clear, sound is great and the remote is working just fine. I’m pleased with the purchase and delivery of this Blu-ray/DVD player.

    Remote controller is crap
Player is fine – the remote is a piece of junk. Always had a hard time getting it to connect, I had to angle it just-so to get it to work. I don’t use this player often, but after a few months the controller stopped working. Got a replacement and had the same issue. Now have to get yet another one.

Add me to the list of disappointed buyers
I went for a higher end model instead of the cheapest, because I was frustrated with the top-tier brand (which was much cheaper). This one has a faster CPU, but suffers other issues which are worse than the ones I left behind. When I drop a C-note on a Blu-Ray player, I want it to play Blu-Ray discs smoothly ands withnout interruption. Is that so much to ask? Evidently it is.It keeps dropping the WiFi. The access point is literally 11 feet from the access point, direct line of sight with no obstructions, and it is a good quality AP. No issues with any other devices staying connected. If I go into the network settings to reconnect it, I have to input the security key again which is onerous on a remote. If I just press the “Title/Popup” button on the remote to make the message go away, it will sometimes reconnect and stay working for a long time, and sometimes it will require doing this several times. I don’t need internet to play a Blu-Ray disc, and leaving the Wi-Fi unconfigureds still pops up annoying prompts randomly. I would be perfectly happy if it had no networking AT ALL. I have another, superior device for streaming services. But there is no option to disable the networking in this unit. It’s very picky about which MKV videos it will play, and there are no firmware updates to add more formats to its capability.Too late to return, or I totally would. Disappointed, LG products are usually better than this.

    Solid dvd player
Feels a LITTLE cheaply made but it works great, came with a remote (I think), and was easily programmable to my universal remote. I do miss the days where you could buy just a simple DVD player rather than one with a bunch of smart features (my household now has 2 smart tvs, and 2 smart dvd players… feels like a waste of money) but that’s irrelevant to the product 🙂

Replaced defective remote with one that works
3-star review is for defective remote. The DVD Blue Ray Player otherwise works well. The remote I received is LG Model AKB73896401 (has one battery / model # is on front of remote). It was defective. As reported by others, the remote is very slow to respond or does not respond. As this issue is not reported by all reviewers, it is not clear whether this is true of all remotes with this model number. The DVD/Blue Ray Player only has off/on and open/close buttons, so the remote is essential. I requested a return, which Amazon approved. But then I reconsidered because the BP350 is good DVD player, and if I purchased another BP350, I might again receive the same model defective remote. I chose to seek a replacement remote and cancelled the return. I purchased from Amazon an aftermarket – “New AKB73896401 Replacement Remote Control…” by Retrosun for $7.99. It is virtually identical to the LG remote, but uses two batteries (not included) instead of one. It works perfectly – remote response is immediate. Not pleased about paying for a replacement remote, but I now have a DVD player that I like with a working remote.

The Blu Ray itself is really good. The remote control only works within 3’, very bothersome because I need to get closer to the player when I need to use it. Not sure if it’s only the one that came with the player that’s defective.

Entiendo que es “Renewed” pero más bien parece sacado del basurero. Recibí una unidad que no cierra bien la tapa de la charola debido a que trae un severo golpe en una esquina. Una completa decepción.

  11. FJSQ

Cheap and plays as good as the top market dvd players. Worth buying. It’s small and doesn’t stand out but yes remotes tiny but if you have a one for all remote not an issue.
