I was looking for something just to play dvdâs. Of course. What I mean is not for streaming. Small compact design, works well, has a good remote without being over complicated like some others. So nice I bought a second one for the living room and now monday is movie night.

I purchased this to put on my tv in my work shop and boy it sure is nice for the money. I highly recommend this if you are looking for one to out in a workshop or garage area.

Great if you want to constantly have to unplug
The first week this DVD player worked great. After that… junk.I have poor internet here so watch a lot of dvds, this thing decides to interrupt the DVD to tell me my internet connection needs checked. So an annoying pop up that you can only get rid of by going to the home screen and then back into your movie, pops up numerous times during a movie.The other very annoying part of this DVD player is that it constantly freezes up. Solid. No buttons work. DVD or using a network app. The fix… unplug it. Are you kidding me? Why should I have to reach behind and unplug this thing every other time it is in use to reset it and get it to work again?! Junk.A minor problem is that it only has 4 available apps, so don’t think you’ll get much variety.All in all… go elsewhere. It’s a waste of money.

Update: I think I may have misunderstood. Under description it says Hulu Plus but it also gives only the 6 listed in picture. Updating stars to 4 as the buffer is way slow on machine.Nice blue ray player but not all of the apps listed in description are available. The only ones are Vudu, Prime, YouTube, Netflix, Panorama, and one I have no idea. I bought this because it said Hulu Plus came with it. You can’t download any apps other than those 6 listed here. Kind of a deal breaker but it’s going in spare bedroom so I guess my guests can just watch what’s there.
