Customers say

Customers like the value and performance of the blank storage media. For example, they mention it works well, is cheap and can be recorded on. That said, opinions are mixed on quality.

    The HP products worked great.
    No failures, unlike non-HP products.

  2. Regeneration

    Bought couple of those
Burned about a dozen of those HP double layer DVDs with LG WH16NS60 at maximum speed (x8) and so far zero bad burns. All discs completed verification.

    Pretty good.
As with anything ready the fine print and ask “what if?” These state 240 min capacity. And that may be true for low definition. However in HD your capacity is reduced quite a bit. Most I was able to squeeze out in HD was 1hr 39min.

Great price & value but should have been shipped in a box, not bag.
Great price, great value. Shipping & packaging in a bag was improper, poor, and that is why I did not give it 5-stars. Item arrived with the round spindle case broken…but DVDs inside were OK.

    Worked as a designed
    No coasters here

    Excellent Product/Great Resource
One of my ongoing responsibilities is to copy video curriculum onto DVDs for the instructors of our Prisoner Reentry courses. I can’t purchase double-layered DVDs locally, and some of our curricula won’t fit on single capacity discs. Therefore, it was a godsend to find a resource through Amazon that provides HP Double Layer DVD+R blank discs at a reasonable price AND a company to work with that delivers on time or (in this case) ahead of schedule.

    When you need More Space
Burning a movie and you need more than 4.7 GB, 8.5 GB is the answer !!!!!

Only 70% Successful at best, but does the job i guess
I’m not an expert, just needed these for a hobby. They seemed to work best with a 6x speed encrypted video and then a 4x write speed, it gets me about seven 20+ minute videos on one disc. What I like about it being DL(duel/double layer) is that I can fit more videos on the disc so I don’t keep having to switch out discs. I use a very cheep DVD writing program so the quality probably isn’t the best it can be, but it does the job and with the settings I use my videos seem to come out decent enough to watch without being too cringy. (Trying to do the 8x encryption speed like it says on the disc takes up way too much room for the all be it minor improvement of video quality. Also, doing even 6x write speed makes the video quality suck to the point it hurts my eyes after a few minutes, so forget trying 8x write speed – my program won’t let me go that fast though as it is maxed out at 6x write speed.)BTW, after going through an entire package of disks, I found that only about 35 or so disks were actually successful, there were about 15 disks that resulted in errors and failed to write, which means that only about 3 out of 5 disks are successful or like 70% successful and 30% resulted failure. Which means I’m paying more like $1/disk. If I can’t find another seller with better quality control than this, then I suppose this one will have to do until then.(P.S. I noticed that the failed discs often sounded like they are warped somehow when I first put them in the disc writer, like when it spins it isn’t perfectly flat and scrapes itself a little bit. The successful discs never seem to make that sound. – Just a tip to the manufacturer, in case you are having trouble with your quality control, don’t claim to not have any knowledge that you are selling bad discs when there is probably an obvious indicator that there are discs that aren’t going to work from the start.)

El producto llegó en la fecha establecida. He grabado unos 10 discos y ninguno presenta fallas. Es una marca confiable. Lo único en contra es el precio. Son más económicos los discos Blu Ray y tienen más capacidad.

  10. Wälisch, Birgit

    Très bien.

  11. M. S. Mckinnon

I’ve burned through 2 50-disc packs, and am onto my 3rd, and not one single DVD has failed or glitched in any way. Highly recommended.

  12. Manuel Pino de Molina Real

Muy buenos en cuanto a relación calidad-precio. Para películas y videos genial. No puedo comentar si sirven para juegos, no lo se.

The plastic box was damaged upon arrival, so therefore had to transfer all the discs to another one that luckily I had.
