I Admit It: I Enjoy These Movies
So, I admit that these movies are a guilty pleasure. I went to see them in the theater and I became a Jamie Dornan fan and started crushing on Dakota Johnson. Escapist fantasy with an adult twist, artfully depicted, and a terrific soundtrack (I’ve bought all of the albums, so yeah – there’s that).But why buy this bundle? The extra footage adds a few fairly minor things. It was fun (still is fun) to go back and watch the films and try to figure out exactly what was added back into the theatrical release. Is it world shaking stuff? No. That’s probably why it was removed for time. It didn’t anything unique but reinforced what was there. And it makes the escapist part of the films last a little longer.If you’re going to buy these films, I do recommend this version over the previous theatrical releases. It’s worth the little bit extra costwise and adds a little something extra. Is it worth buying these if you already own the original release? Probably not, unless you’re a really big fan and you just want to play the game of watching for the new material. But I would absolutely go with this version if you’re just buying these films for the first time.

My husband and I waited patently for each movie to come out because we really liked the story so having a chance to own all three compacted together is a no brainer!

The final piece of the puzzle how hard this must have been for the actors who did a great job. This whole set is the full story which as a lot of people appear not to see is a very sad sorry of a man who had a life of abuse and huge business success , The abuse damaged him to the point he abused women like his mother. Anna gets to his soul and turns things around but also suffers some awful situations in the process.This must have so hard for the actors who show the emotional damage etc very well.I was shocked to see some film reviewers actually laughing at this very sad story . Perhaps their own misunderstanding and discomfort with the issues it dealt with .Certainly makes you realise the damage that can be done. a great story addressing huge issues
