Great for DVD or CD transfers
This Laurensory worked great. I used it to help me transfer home DVD movie files on to my computer. Ez to install by plugging it into the computers usb port. The price was great and was available to be shipped by the next day. It comes with a standard USB cable end. One end of the cable is fixed into the unit, total length of the cable is approximately 8 inches.

Product works fine. It is somewhat cheap, the way it closes seems worrisome. But that is on par for these external cd players. It does play CDs, rips CDs and DVDs. Their price was low enough and in line with all the others on Amazon.

worked great then quit working
the external cde drive connected easily, worked great for ripping cds onto my laptop, but then it quit working. I kept getting the code “unable to rip cd” from every cd I tried. So I restarted my computer and it then began to work again. Hope it works next time?

The original VHS is old but it works great.
It looks good. My client had a VHS original from 1965 and decided to use the original tape for playback. The original tape was in good condition in spite of its age. The transfer from VHS to disc was not needed. The disc also worked fine, it just was not needed. Richard Baim, previous Adobe Certified Expert & Premiere Certified Instructor. Hook up to laptop and then laptop to TV sometimes messes with it.
I’ve been using this for about a year to run my RC flight simulator on my laptop and it works great! It is a little weird when you hookup the laptop to the TV while you are using this CD player. It works but the TV screen will turn black if the laptop stays open too long. This could also just be my specific game that I run though (REALFLIGHT)
