   Robust, versatile, and easily transportable
   I’ve had this player for about a week and have been very impressed so far. As in the description, this is the 15.7” player with 14.1” screen (model PD14), which seems more easily transportable than the POFOTO 17.5” player with 15.6” screen (model PD15). Some other highlights that initially struck me were the crisp images, vibrant colors, and clear sound with wide volume range. If feels solidly built, which is especially noticeable with the DVD tray mechanism (this was a problem with a previous BOIFUN player). A fast charge and long battery-powered playing time (reported to be 6 hours) seem good so far. The buttons on the player and remote are mostly self-explanatory with good labeling, and there are enough functions on the player buttons that you can do most things without the remote (which is a plus when the remote goes missing). It has region-free disc support and can play from USB and SD cards. It has AV input and output jacks (and includes a 3.5mm-RCA Cable), a headphone jack, and both AC adapter and car power adapters for charging. I like that their warranty extends to two years if you register the product with them within 3 weeks of receiving it.We bought the larger POFOTO 17.5” player with 15.6” screen a couple months before getting this smaller one, and it still working well so far, except that a small cluster of pixels on the screen has gone black. I submitted this concern to POFOTO customer service and they sent me a new player. I’ve been very impressed by their responsiveness and level of service.I chose this brand since my experience with some other brands was disappointing. Our kids have regularly used the various players we’ve bought, and have been been fairly gentle with them. We purchased a COOAU 12.5” player in 6/2020, two BOIFUN 17.5” players with 15.6” screen in 12/2021 and 11/2022, and a Pyle 17.9” player with 15” screen in 2/2023. Except for the second BOIFUN player, all of these became nonfunctional (not playing DVDs) within 2.5 years. An issue we’re having with the remaining BOIFUN player is a very poor connection at the DC/power jack, despite buying multiple replacement power cords.

   Excellent HD DVD player with many capabilities
   This is a quality portable DVD player with a wide range of uses. Very, very happy with the sound, visuals, and capabilities. The rotating screen that can lay flat is awesome for space restricted situations.My two cents.Pros:Display is HD and crystal clear.Sound is crisp and clear. I use headphones for the best sound isolation.Battery powered so it is portable and playable anywhere, and the battery life is hours so the longest uses are no problem.I have successfully played mp3 music off a USB drive and reviewed photos on an SD card. There are others formats available too.Easy to use remote included.I recommend it.Cons:None thus far. I will update my review if I run into troubles.The player has been perfect for travels and on the patio when the weather must be enjoyed. Great price for a great piece of entertainment gear.

   Portable DVD Player
   Overall a great product with no complaints. It’s a good size and not excessively heavy. Operation is simple and effective. It comes with various cables/charging options and a remote. The screen swivels and is has a clear picture. Everything is as advertised and not a bad price.

   Does the job well, works for me!
   This is our second purchase of a POFOTO portable DVD player, as we have the smaller (9.5″). I was on the fence between buying the smaller one or the larger one, or both.While we are content and pleased with the 9.5″ for most viewing (especially for little hands which includes long car rides, on a plane, and DVD school lessons since it is refreshingly underwhelming in size and can easily be tucked into a tote bag or purse), I also thought that the larger one could come in handy for family viewing during hotel stays, out on the porch in the summer, or for a teen who wants to watch something different—-without ads and distractions that come from streaming.I am pleased with the company and care that they have taken in their product, most specifically in the directions, warranty given, and accessories. This one comes with a remote, AC adapter, car charger, and a 3 in 1 AV cable. This device is much the size of a Chromebook but thicker.Here are my main takeaways:- I cannot speak to the alleged HD display because most of my movies are older, but the resolution is just fine. I’m sure a laptop or television would be better; however, I would imagine that if you are buying this, then you have reasons for not using a laptop or a television.- Fullscreen will fill the screen, widescreen will have a border. You can zoom in and out quite a bit and also change the aspect ratio to aid with lower quality videos. Widescreen videos can be zoomed in to fill the screen, though you will lose some of the frame.-It does play multiple media types but not blu-ray and pirated discs. My baby videos played well though they weren’t a great resolution to begin with.-Headphone audio works well. Speakers work fine. And the screen can pivot and collapse to hide the buttons, which can be advantageous if you have little ones.-One function that I wish these had was a time display for when you need to know where in movie you stopped. You will just have to fast forward or chapter click through to where you think you’d left off. With that said, it does do an amazing job at resuming where you’d left off. It’s a little creepy–some science that I don’t understand—I’ve gone a day shuffling between multiple discs for school with the 9.5″ and it has magically resumed where I left off the last day after having two other discs in there. I don’t know how, but it works!-The second thing that I wish this had was a battery indicator on the screen. It just shuts off when it’s out of juice. I also just realized today that the battery indictator is on the front underside of the device.All in all, works for us!
