My Funai portable Blu-ray/DVD player was getting old and not playing as well as it used to. So I started shopping around for a new one. And here was what I found… and for a good price. This player works well and I recommend it. LG is a good brand. Also, I had a frustrating experience with the episode mixup on Brady Bunch, Season 3 on Amazon Prime. So I decided to add the Season 3 DVD disc set to my purchase and both came two days later and earlier than the delivery time I was expecting. so far all the episodes are showing perfectly with no mix-ups and very good video quality than on Prime! I am very happy with this purchase!

Disappointing and frustrating but seller resolved
Update: The seller has excellent customer service, they resolved my issue completely. Will Def buy from this seller again!Original: Amazon prime, you tube, and Netflix all freeze during play after a few minutes. Completely frustrating features that are basically false advertising. Plays DVDs without issue….so far. Not worth the price in my opinion.

It’s so tiny
I couldn’t believe how small this unit is. The remote is tiny with little bitty buttons. There is no display of time elapsed on the DVD. You must click for a pop up screen, which hides the subtitles. Otherwise, I guess it’s okay, although I’ve only used it a couple of times. I’m not yet sure how you access chapters, or if you can. At least it holds your place if you turn off the unit in the middle of the movie. We were unable to connect the Wi-Fi feature. It goes through all the steps just fine until the final one and then says nope, sorry. I should have gotten the previous model which does not have Wi-Fi, but it’s only ten bucks cheaper, so I thought it was worth the gamble. It wasn’t.

Everything about this player seems to be without logical thought.Wifi is to slow. Signal from the modem is six feet away and yet video stops and starts.First menu makes one wonder about the programmers ability to think.Make it possible to delete/hide unused iconsYou say in the documentation that I can plug in any device into the usb port. That is untrue, nothing works there. ( Keyboard/mouse wonât work)IMPORTANT:Never produce another player that doesnât have network cable connection. A wifi receiver is nice if it functions (this one does not!!)
