    Awesome
I have played all the games several times I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s so bad me and my family loved the movie and this steel case looks awesome let’s hope it comes like it looks!!!!

    Jack Black????
Well looks like I’m canceling my preorder. Haven’t seen the movie and just found out Jack Black is in it as the voice of clap trap. Seeing how this steelbook is clap trap themed I won’t buy. Maybe he should have wished to go back in time so he could not say what he did. Anything to do with Jack Black after the birthday wish I will not support him in anyway.

    See for yourself
I watched the movie in theaters and enjoyed it and I watched at home on digital and enjoyed it many reviews say the movie is awful but I think any fan can enjoy the movie couldn’t have been better yes but is it a good movie that’s for you you to decide after you watch it for yourself

Feels like 30 minutes of the film is missing…
I definitely have the feeling the studio meddled in a film that was longer, R-rated, and fleshed itself out better. Despite the questionable casting, it kinda felt like everyone was older/different part of life while ending up in a borderlands what if. Now, many video game adaptations are like that, and I don’t fault when it’s done right or is actually a really good film (tomb raiders, silent hill, others). The problem with not just being an adaption but as a whole is, you are thrown into this “planet that sucks” world and while it’s fun. It’s looks cool. There’re so many cuts to what look like “removed the blood since Eli Roth wasn’t here the whole time.” It also feels much shorter, as a certain revelation just happens way too fast without any real build-up. As a result it feels unearned and all the “what’s in the vault” just for a short visual scene was…a let-down. The MC basically does that Pheonix thing in the Mulan remake except this time it’s not a “guardian” it’s just someone who basically became a super-hero.If they ever released a director’s cut or extended edition (by minimally 15 minutes) then I’d definitely want to give it another shot, but not even a cast of fun characters and interesting personalities and useage of style/weaponry etc in a post-apocalyptic world with people crazier than the crazies is…somehow not actually that good. Maybe 6.5/10. A let down even after the trailers made it look like a 2.

    They did an excellent job
Yes this movie is based off of video game characters but it is different from the games so people that never played any of the games will understand and be introduced to the characters and world of the video game it is a action packed sci-fi movie. I really enjoyed it and completely understand the direction this film is taking. The borderlands games. Chapter books and comics are all different from each other the chapter books tell the entire story before borderlands 2 game the comics introduced the back story of all characters in borderlands 1 and the movie does this as well in a very good and clever way.

    Don’t waste your money
Awful awful movie. It’s so dumb and cheesy. The writing is so poor and basic…

    Surprising!
Just watched on Prime last night. It’s not a great movie, but it’s a really fun Borderlands movie! There’s very little world building. If you’ve played the games you’ll be fine. Newcomers might find themselves confused. Liberties are taken, but if you’re open to the experience you’ll likely find a lot of fun here.

    Clapping Trapping fun
This movie was spot on. Especially Clap trap was so funny and just like the game, lame, but in a fun way. Tiny Tina was adorable on the nose riveting adaptation of her character. Roland was great, I mean Kevin Hart for his character was a joke obviously, I guess the Rock wasn’t available 😂. I could go on but just have fun with the movie don’t take it anymore seriously than the game and you might surprise yourself with some fun.
