    We Love this movie! It’s another Minion Masterpiece
    This is a minion Masterpiece!!! Cockroach baddies. Honey Badger. Baby Grue. It’s got it all. We rented this and afterwards my 6 yo asked if we could buy it. So we did!!!

    More Than Disappointing Story, Very Slow, Nothing New, No Heart
    🍿1/2 (Out of 5)Directed by Chris Renaud and written by Mike White and Ken Daurio the story is missing the fun and heart of the first two films – even not as good as the stand-alone Minions film – this film is filled with pointless gags and the best things that were funny came from the “normal” minions, not the supped up ones.The story attempts to tell was that Gru (Steve Carell) welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who’s intent on tormenting his dad after clearly not liking him – for no reason. However, their peaceful existence soon comes crashing down when criminal ‘cockroach-like’ mastermind Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) escapes from prison and vows revenge against Gru.Everyone is back – Kristen Wiig as Lucy, Gru’s wife, Joey King as Poppy Prescott the young neighbor girl, Sofía Vergara as Valentina, Maxime’s femme fatale girlfriend, Stephen Colbert as Perry Prescott, Poppy’s father and Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom director of the Anti-Villain League,The movie was slow – the kids in the audience seemed very restless and the adults – including myself, were clearly bored. I was looking forward to this as Carell usually does more with Gru, but the story is shallow and the sentiments are forced, Again, the small laughs come mainly from the Minions themselves.

    Smiling Ear to Ear throughout the entire IMAX movie
    Saw it at IMAX. Very family orientated, good clean language, parents protecting their children plot with help from minions, charming and hilarious slap stick minion comedy, lots of action, upbeat music with a good beat complementing all the action. Like that RamsBottom was back … adds a sense of calm and charm. Lots of mothers with daughters and fathers with sons in theater. Did notice Lucy’s voice was slightly different from previous movies, not in a bad way, just slightly different … no worries. Saw it three times. The bass in the IMAX music really makes this movie standout. Must see. Buying 4k UHD blu ray. 🙂

    This animation was funny, adorable characters, as usual, and for a time took us away from the problems of the day. This is what comedy is all about relax, relieve stress, concentrate on what’s in front of you.
