Such Fun!
This dvd player really works well. No tech., no big problem that only the younger set can figure out. Very easy to set up. Great screen. We forgot it would be smaller, but that is no problem. It is nice to have one that I can move around, and easily to dust under. We have a tv that is on the cusp of being non streaming. We don’t think we can set up to stream, so we got a good cable package, and this dvd player. That should keep us in movies for quite awhile. Very happy with our purchase, and a good price!

Great warranty support
I bought this player to play both DVDs and CDs and it did so for a few weeks but then it stopped recognizing a DVD when one was inserted. I did test multiple DVDs and did the power off cycle, tried everything. It was just a failed player. I didn’t ask Amazon for a return in time but I had sent in a warranty. Eventually I contacted the company and they honored the warranty. They sent me an entirely new player that works great! I’ve been able to enjoy watching my DVDs. The sound quality & picture are great. Good email communication. I’m happy I made the purchase and that it’s all worked out.

Liked this DVD player from the start, easy to use the remote – that’s important for old people – Suddenly the player just stopped working, would not come on at all. I contacted the support site and sent an email asking for helpful hints to perhaps reset it or restart it. I received a response in a very timely manner. After submitting a copy of my original invoice, the company is replacing my DVD player. One cannot ask for better service than that! Excellent customer service and in my opinion, an excellent DVD player. With very poor customer service in other places, it was a pleasure to deal with this company!

Great Simple DVD Player at a Fair Price
I love this player. I’ve been looking for a simple player that just plays the DVDs and no bells & whistles, and this is it. I have only had it for about a month or 2 so I cannot speak to the longevity yet but overall I really lie it. The player is compact, has a nice display on front showing the time progression/chapters. it has play/pause, start/stop and power on/off buttons on the front of the physical player and also comes with a nice sleek remote. The remote has all of those buttons plus so many more options from HD picture, subtitle, jump to a track or time stamp, etc…and it has a button to open/close the disc tray as well, which is great. Sometimes I place the disc on the tray, put the case away sit down & then you realize the tray is still open. Now you don’t have to get back up to close it. Just a little detail that makes it great.The player is completely quiet when a disc is running. It is region free so it can play any DVD. It also plays other types of discs – music CD/CD-RW, etc…if you want to listen to music or maybe you bought a digital copy of a show or movie and you wanted to have it on a tangible disc to watch, the player will run the RW with no problem.As far as connection to your tv/monitor, I liked the fact that there are 2 sets of cables included – it comes with the HD cable and the older tri-color cables (red, white & yellow) for the older connection/older tv sets. I have HD and the older RC in the back of my TV so I can use either. I tried both just to test it and they both hook up fine & there’s no difference except for the HD being a little sharper picture, obviously. I routinely use the regular cables and the sound & picture are fine (I only have 1 HD input in the back of my TV and my cable box occupies it. I didn’t want to be swapping them/plugging things in & out of the HD port every single day when I switch from TV to DVD player, wear out the port)Overall it’s a great little player for anyone looking to buy a simple one that JUST PLAYS the movies. No bells & whistles. I bought 1 to use and 1 as extra in case I can’t find it in the future.

Before buying this player I reviewed all the good and bad reviews. As usual, there were both to be reviewed. I dismissed those from shipping damage and not working out of the box. Then a few complained about the remote or fast forward or fast reverse. Most other reviews were very positive. A couple of the bad reviews in my estimation were due to owner ignorance. (One person complained because it didn’t come with two AAA batteries as needed.)My DVD player came through shipment in good shape and was packed well by the manufacturer and the shipper. As for the remote, it is no better or no worse then the remote shipped with my Sony Blue Ray player. It is not bullet proof but equal in quality to most remotes shipped with equipment today. The manual is well written which was a surprise. (Not in Pig Latin) Unfortunately, the manual is not totally accurate for the supplied remote. But, even though the control has too many buttons for my satisfaction, it is fairly intuitive. Someone mention they could not forward or reverse the player or stop start from where you left off. This is not true. All these things can be done but for example when you push the stop button it stops but then you must push the start/stop symbol button to start it again from where you left off. This is a different button with just a symbol on it and is not the stop button. If you had pushed the power button and then turned the player on again it would not start from where you were when you turned it off. The bottom line is experience will teach you how to work around the players little quirks. If you watch a DVD in it’s entirety, the quarks won’t be noticed. I did notice when you boot up the player it may not take you to where you want to be on the DVD. Push the MENU button and it will take you to an area where you can select where you want to be on the DVD. (A series I have contains two TV shows on one disc. The menu button takes me to a page allowing me to select which show I want to watch.) Bye the way, this player is exactly the same size as my small Sony Blue Ray player.) The player has a permanently mounted US AC power cord attached to the player. (No plug in power adapter needed.) The picture quality of the player is good too. I have not noticed quirky jumping around the DVD either. It plays well. So for the money, this is a good choice. I’m glad I purchased it. I needed a player that would allow me to watch DVDs from other REGIONS. (I have an interest in War TV series and War movies from around the world thus requiring a universal region DVD player.) Yes, I would buy it again if needed. I’m a Broadcast Engineer and know a little about what I am talking about. I think most potential buyers of this player will be satisfied with it. You will just have to learn your remotes small quirks. Intuition and trial and error will get you there. It’s not a big deal.

I had not heard of this brand but I thought id give it a try. This player is amazing! I was replacing a Sony unit and this new one is so much better than the Sony in every way. The read time is significantly quicker, picture quality is excellent, remote is intuitive. I specifically wanted a player that had audio outputs so I could connect to my sound bar and subwoofer. Sound quality from the unit it excellent. Definitely a nice little player. Hoping it lasts for years to come!

Como seguramente tanta gente, tengo un cúmulo de DVD’s de aquellos tipo región I a la IV que no tenÃa en que verlas. Asà que esta pieza está siendo muy útil para entretenimiento, especialmente cuando tienes que sortear tanta basura que tiene Netflix. El artÃculo requiere poco espacio, fácil de instalar, instrucciones sencillas, y buen precio.

Encontrar un lector de dvd que te lea todo tipo de dvd (original y copia) no es fácil, y este DVD lo consiguió, a un precio excelente y tamaño reducido, puedo reproducir DVD grabados por mi desde que mis hijos eran pequeños, y se ve de maravilla…. El streaming se comió al dvd, pero con este DVD vuelve a la carga, y cuentos de discos de pelÃculas y series ya los puedo ver….
